Unsubscribe
Skip one session, leave a program, or stop taking part in RandomCoffee entirely, from your messages, the unsubscribe page or your Member Portal.
You can stop participating at three levels:
- One session: you skip the upcoming session of a program and stay in the program.
- One program: you no longer take part in any future session of this program.
- The entire RandomCoffee initiative: you no longer take part in any program and no longer receive RandomCoffee emails.
Just need a break for a few weeks? Snooze your participation instead.
Skip one session
The simplest way to skip a session is to decline the opt-in message, or to ignore it: if you do not accept the invitation, you are not matched in this session.
Decline the invitation in the opt-in email, or ignore the email.
In the opt-in message from the RandomCoffee bot, click “Not this round”, then confirm with “Yes”.
In the opt-in card from the RandomCoffee bot, click “Not this time, sorry”.
You can also skip a session from the unsubscribe page, with the first option described below.
Unsubscribe from an email

Click “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of an opt-in email.
The opt-in email is the invitation to join a session. If your program matches you without an opt-in, leave the program from your Member Portal.

Choose how far you want to unsubscribe.
The unsubscribe page offers three options:
- “Do not participate only for the current session of this program”: you skip the upcoming session of this program.
- “Do not participate to every upcoming sessions of this program”: you leave the program.
- “Stop taking part in the whole initiative and do not receive emails anymore”: you leave RandomCoffee entirely (see below).

Tell us why.
Select a reason in the “Please tell us why:” list. A reason is required to save your choice.

Save your choice.
Click “Save my choice” (to skip a session) or “Unsubscribe” (to leave the program or RandomCoffee).
When you leave the entire initiative
With the third option, you become an inactive member: you are no longer included in any program and you no longer receive RandomCoffee emails.
Changed your mind right away? On the confirmation page, click “No, I still want to participate ❤️”. The same link appears when you leave a program. Later on, ask your RandomCoffee admin to reactivate you.
Leave a program from your Member Portal
If your admin has enabled the Member Portal, you can also leave a program from there.

Open your Member Portal.
Sign in at app.random-coffee.com/login.

Open the program.
Click “My Programs” in the menu on the left, then click the arrow next to the program you want to leave.

Click “Stop participating”.
In the “About” tab, the button is in the “Participation” section.

Confirm with “Stop participating”.
You no longer receive any proposal from this program.
To come back to the program, open it again and click “Participate again”. You are matched again from the next session.
