Head to Broadcasts in your Admin Portal and click "Create your first broadcast" to get started.
Add recipients
Define who will receive your communication by selecting one or multiple audiences.
Don't have an audience yet? Create one in three easy steps:
1. Go to People> Audiences, and click "Create audience"
2. Choose whether the audience has to match all filters or at least one
If you select “All”, the filters will use AND logic, meaning only people who match every condition will be included in the audience.
If you select “At least one”, the filters will use OR logic, meaning anyone who matches at least one of the conditions will be included.
3. Create your filters, using Members' info (creation date, role (admin/user), status, email, name...), Member's activity (last matched date, number of matches overall or in a specific program, number of invitations received in a specific program) or categories.
You can add as many filters as you want.
You can segment recipients by team, location, department, or any custom attribute set up in your member directory.

Create the content
Start from scratch
or
Use a previous template and customize it
Just like the programs' optin and match emails, you have access to the same drag-and-drop email editor.
You can personalize:
The sender (by default, the sender is [email protected], but you can modify it, if your own sending domain is set up)
The subject of the email
The email content (logo, text, buttons... almost everything!)
Tip: you can use "merge tags" to include extra information, provided you have previously created categories.
Don't forget to save!
Review your broadcast
In the review tab, you will be able to see at a glance:

Schedule your broadcast
If everything looks good, you can schedule your broadcast at a specific time in a preferred time zone, or send it immediately with the "send now" button.
Pro tip: if you are sending your email to many members at once, it may be useful to toggle the "Delivery rate" option, in order to:
Prevent emails from getting spammed
Preserve your server's reputation by reaching everyone
If activated, your broadcast will send messages in batches instead of all at once.
You can even spread out the delivery for X many hours.
