# Get an instant match

Meet someone right away, without waiting for the next session, by finding a colleague from your Member Portal and getting introduced by email.

Need to meet a specific profile? You do not have to wait for the next session of a program. With an instant match, you find a colleague from your Member Portal and you both get an intro email right away.

  Your RandomCoffee admin can turn this feature off. If you do not see the "Create your own opportunities" section on your home page, instant match is not available in your workspace.

## Find someone to meet

<Steps>

1. **Open your Member Portal.**

   Sign in at [app.random-coffee.com/login](https://app.random-coffee.com/login). You land on your home page.

2. **Click "Find someone".**

   Scroll down to the "Create your own opportunities" section, then click "Find someone".

3. **Choose how you want to connect.**

   The "How do you prefer to connect?" window offers two options:

   - "Set criterias": define your filters and choose from the results.
   - "Let the magic happen": RandomCoffee selects a random profile for you.

4. **Pick the person you want to meet.**

   - **With "Set criterias"**: select one or more categories in "Select member categories" (for example a location). "Our matching suggestions" shows up to three colleagues who fit. Not satisfied with the suggestions? Click "Reshuffle results" to get new ones. Then click "Connect" next to the person you want to meet.
   - **With "Let the magic happen"**: RandomCoffee picks a colleague for you and shows their profile. Click "Connect" to continue. If nobody is available, you see "No match found": try again later.

     If you have already been matched with a suggested colleague, their card shows the date of your last connection, and the button reads "Send message" instead of "Connect".

5. **Add a message to your intro.**

   In "Add a message to your intro", write a few words to explain why you would like to meet. A message is required to continue.

6. **Click "Connect now".**

   You both receive an intro email with your message. The colleague now also appears in "Network" in your Member Portal.

## The intro email

The email tells your colleague that you sent an instant match request and shows your message. Get in touch and enjoy a coffee together.
